Phoneage – BlackBerry Slider Leaked!

By Jon | Friday, March 5th, 2010 | Comments

BBLeaks has just uploaded some pictures that reveals Research in Motion’s newest BlackBerry creation – the currently unnamed BlackBerry touch slider. This device looks to be the love child of the iPhone inspired BlackBerry Storm with the highly successful BlackBerry Bold – Bold 9000 or Bold 9700, let your imagination decide. Not a lot has been leaked about this device yet, besides the fact that it might be coming with a rather small 1050 mAh battery. Some more leaked BlackBerry news would reveal that the new Pearl model, the BlackBerry 9100, will get a dual release. There will be a traditional SureType style keyboard version, as well as a new “mini” qwerty keyboard version.

Blackberry Slider Phone PICTURES LEAKED!?

Could the above pictures be of the rumored Blackberry slider phone we posted about last week?. The first picture is of the keyboard slid out(?) and the second is of the device with the keyboard closed. From the pictures, the device does appear to have a slide out keyboard, which would make sense because BlackBerry was rumored to be releasing a slider phone. Keep in mind that other people think (and call) this device the Storm 3, but in this article, I will be referring to the device as the Blackberry Slider. In case you did not read our post initially talking about the slider, BoyGeniusReport.com received some information from a “Blackberry source” about a Blackberry Slider phone. You can find out more details of what it supposedly is like in the post.

Phoneage – LG Windows Phone 7 Revealed!

By Jon | Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010 | Comments

Apparently LG is Microsoft’s company of choice to launch the first Windows Phone 7 Series device. Not a lot of spec information yet, but the phone is suspected to having a 3.7 high resolution capacitive touch screen, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and WiFi. Unfortunately, current Windows Mobile 6 phones such as the HTC Touch Pro 2 or the HTC Diamond 2 are unable to have a software upgrade to Windpws Hone 7. This is because Microsoft has set out a strict set of guidelines for devices to officially carry the “Windows Phone 7″ branding and name. Surprisingly, the almighty and powerful HTC HD2 does not quality. Why? Because it does not have the three main buttons Windows Phone 7 requires.

Various companies and websites are giving away free phones including Telus, Crackberry, and PhoneDog. We’re also giving away an exclusive prize for our YouTube followers. All this and more in this special episode of Phoneage. All of the news articles and video links can be found in the YouTube’s video description.

See you guys on Friday!
